Inkster Michigan Community Initiative

May 23, 2015 - Imam Izak-EL M. Pasha, Resident Imam of the historic Masjid Malcolm Shabazz in Harlem , New York host the 116th Birthday Celebration for the oldest person in the world, Ms. Jeralean Talley, a resident of Inkster, MI . The celebration was held at the site of The Inkster Educational Center For Human Excellence, the property is dedicated to the life works of Imam W. D. Mohammed and his Father and Mother, The Honorable Elijah and Clara Mohammed . Chambers.Mrs. Jeralean Talley (the oldest person in the world) resident of Inkster, Michigan accompanied by her daughter, Mrs. Thelma Holloway, invited Imam Izak-El M. Pasha to her home for some brunch.

Over 800 people including the residents of Inkster attended the celebration. They traveled as far from India, North Carolina, Denver, New York, Illinois and Canada and different regions of Michigan and they represented many faith traditions. Imam Pasha was also the keynote speaker. (see photos of the celebration below)
The Inkster Educational Center for Human Excellence is the site of a new Clara Mohammed School, soon to be opened for the 2016-2017 school year and is currently the site of the 2015 DNA W. D.
